The NSW south coast seat of Kiama has been plunged into one of the state’s most unpredictable by-elections in years, with Labor pushing for near-total control and the Liberals battling to keep their leader afloat.
Kiama voters are facing a crowded ballot on Saturday, as more than a dozen candidates line up to replace disgraced former MP Gareth Ward in what has become a make-or-break contest for both major parties.
